This 6-day journey follows the sacred footsteps of Rama, Sita, and Hanuman across Sri Lanka.
Begin at ancient Shiva temples where Rama prayed, visit the coastal shrines of Trincomalee linked to Ravana’s pleas for forgiveness, and continue to the misty highlands where Sita is believed to have stayed during her captivity at Ashok Vatika.
Along the way, experience Ravana Falls, temple landscapes, and peaceful mountain surroundings.
A meaningful tour that brings the Ramayana story to life as you travel from coast to hills and into the heart of its legends.

Your Ramayana journey begins as you arrive in Sri Lanka.
A warm welcome awaits, and you travel to Negombo or Colombo for your first night.
The island prepares you for the sacred legends you will explore in the coming days.

Overnight: Negombo / Colombo

Your first sacred visit begins at Munneshwaram Temple, where Lord Rama prayed to Shiva after defeating Ravana.
Next, you visit Manavari Temple, the first place where Lord Rama installed a Shiva Lingam, known today as Ramalingam.

After blessings and rituals, you continue your journey toward the cultural region of Sigiriya, surrounded by ancient history and village life.

Overnight: Sigiriya / Dambulla

Morning travel to Trincomalee, home to one of the most important Ramayana sites — Thirukoneshwaram Temple, also known as the “Temple of a Thousand Pillars.”
Here, according to the legend, Ravana sought Lord Shiva’s help after realizing the consequences of abducting Sita.

You explore the temple, ocean cliffs, and ancient shrine areas where many Ramayana stories unfold.

Overnight: Trincomalee

Leaving the east coast, your journey continues through the mountains toward Kandy, the last royal kingdom of Sri Lanka.
In the evening, you visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a place deeply connected to Sri Lankan Buddhist history.

Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the hill capital before the journey heads deeper into Ramayana’s central legends.

Overnight: Kandy

Today you enter the heart of the Ramayana story — Nuwara Eliya, the region believed to be the kingdom of Ravana.

You visit Sita Amman Temple, built at the spot where Sita was kept under Ashok trees during captivity.
Nearby, you explore Ashok Vatika, the area associated with Hanuman’s arrival in search of Sita.

The cool weather, misty mountains, and quiet surroundings make this one of the most meaningful days of the tour.

Overnight: Nuwara Eliya

On your final day, you travel through Ella to see Ravana Falls, a place linked to the caves used by King Ravana.
The waterfall marks one of the final chapters of the island’s Ramayana connection.

After the visit, you continue to Colombo or straight to the airport, completing your 6-day spiritual and historical journey across Sri Lanka.
